Botox®

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary).

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows.

It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows.

  2. How quickly will I see results?
    3. Most patients begin seeing results within days of receiving treatment. The lines will continue to improve for up to 30 days with results lasting up to 4 months. Individual results may vary.
  3. Is treatment painful?
    4. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your doctor may numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. The entire procedure is very quick, with most procedures taking only 10 minutes and most patients experience very little to no downtime after receiving BOTOX® Cosmetic.
  4. Will I still be able to make facial expressions?
    5. Although the results are visible, BOTOX® Cosmetic will not dramatically alter your appearance. Patients are sill able to appear surprised or frown but without the wrinkles and creases between your brows

    6. Patients who do not continue treatments will gradually see the return of the moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. Your appearance will gradually return to its previous state.
